The gist
The Ministry of Youth wants a 60-plus line institutional provisions framework — tea, coffee, biscuits, juices, meat, fish, dairy, staples and disposables — delivered to Old Parliament Building. Bids close 12 October 2026 at 12:00 CAT.
The Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Development and Vocational Training is procuring institutional provisions, food and refreshments across a very wide list.
Refreshments dominate: tea in rooibos, green, zumbani, Tanganda and moringa sachets in boxes of 24 x 250, coffee sachets and Jacobs jars, sugar and milk sachets, sweeteners, seven kinds of biscuit, potato chips and biltong, fruit juices in three sizes with the brand to be stated, mineral water, canned and pet soft drinks and 2-litre cordials.
Staples and fresh: brown and white sugar, honey, long-life milk, mealie-meal, rice, beans, salt, macaroni, plain flour, cooking oil, margarine, jam, butter, cheddar and mozzarella. Meat and fish run to commercial beef, pork rashers, chicken cutlets, bream, country-style sausage, mince, mixed offals, beef trotters and beef bones, all by the kilogram.
Disposables cover serviettes, paper towels, shrink wrap and aluminium foil.
Every line is at quantity one, so this is a rate schedule rather than a fixed order. Delivery is to the Old Parliament Building, corner Kwame Nkrumah and Patrice Lumumba, over 64 days, funded from a regular agency fund. It is run as competitive bidding with 90-day bid validity.

Watch out for
Every one of the 60-plus lines is at quantity one, so the actual volumes are not published — read the tender document before committing to rates.
Several lines require the bidder to state the brand offered.
The list spans dry groceries, chilled dairy, fresh meat and fish, and packaging — few single suppliers cover all of it.
Bid validity is 90 days on food prices.
