Mbire Rural District Council is buying borehole spares, in a pattern that reads as eight complete bush pump rebuilds: 120 lengths of 50mm GI pipe and 120 of 16mm GI rod, with eight each of 75mm brass cylinder, pump handle, pump stand, U-bracket, short rod, discharge unit, wooden block and set of floating washers. Fixings are 56 19mm studs, 16 16mm U-bolts, 16 M24 bolt and nut pairs, and 4kg of grease in 500g packs. Delivery is to Mbire RDC Offices, Mushumbi Growth Point, within 60 days, funded from internally generated funds. It is run as competitive bidding with 60-day bid validity.
