PAPER SHREDDER
Bindura University wants one auto-feed paper shredder rated at 75 sheets with the cut type described both as microcut and as a 3 to 9mm strip. Bids close 7 October 2026 at 10:00 CAT.
Bindura University of Science Education is buying one paper shredder, delivered to BUSE central stores within seven days on internally generated funds. The capacity is given as 75 sheets with automatic feed, which puts this in the mid to upper office range rather than a desk-side machine. The cut specification contradicts itself. The description asks for 3mm to 9mm and microcut in the same breath, but a microcut shredder produces particles of a couple of millimetres, not a 9mm strip. The product code attached is for an entry-level machine at 3 to 4mm, which agrees with neither. A bidder has to decide which security level is actually wanted, and microcut machines cost considerably more. The full tender document was not available to us, so download it from the source.
