Supply and delivery of PH meter
Chitungwiza Central Hospital wants 2 pH meters — range 0.0 to 14.0, accuracy ±0.01, two-point auto calibration, temperature compensation 0–50°C — within 30 days. Bids close 17 September 2026 at 11:00 CAT.
Two pH meters, and unusually the hospital has written out the full specification. The requirement: a range of 0.0 to 14.0 pH, resolution ±0.1, accuracy ±0.01, powered by two 1.5V cells, automatic temperature compensation from 0 to 50 degrees Celsius, an operating temperature range of -20 to 80 degrees, two-point automatic calibration, and dimensions of 155 x 31 x 18mm. Those dimensions describe a pocket or pen-type meter rather than a bench instrument, which narrows the field usefully and keeps the price sensible. The ±0.01 accuracy with two-point auto calibration is the specification to check a model against first. What is not mentioned is whether calibration buffer solutions are expected with the meters. They are consumable and always needed, so it is worth asking — and worth quoting as an option. Delivery is within 30 days on the Treasury regular budget allocation.
