DN 300 (PN 25) Motorised Parallel
Zimbabwe Power Company wants DN 300 PN 25 motorised ceramic slurry gate valves for Hwange — fully specified to ANSI and ASME standards but listed twice and with the actuator detail cut off. Bids close 6 October 2026 at 17:10 CAT.
Zimbabwe Power Company is buying motorised parallel slide double disc ceramic gate valves for the ash slurry line at Hwange, delivered within 15 days on internally generated funds. The specification is the most detailed on the board. The valve is DN 300 at PN 25, electrically actuated with a position marker and a nameplate, and must seal effectively with pressure applied from either direction. Dimensions are to ANSI/ASME B16.5 with testing to ASME B16.34, flanged ends to ASME B16.5 class 150. The body is carbon steel to ASTM A216 Gr WCB with HV1 surface hardness, 500 BHN, nitrided to approximately 600 to 1250. Trim material is WCB with alumina, zirconia, solid tungsten carbide or Stellite. The stem is 304 stainless. The duty is ash slurry at specific gravity 1.2, operating at 60 degrees Celsius or below. Two things interrupt it. The description breaks off mid-sentence at the actuator type, so the actuator requirement — voltage, control signal, failure position — is missing. And the line is published twice, identically, so the order is either one valve or two. The full tender document was not available to us. Download it from the source for the actuator specification.
