The media and sera are the bulk of it: 20 × 500ml of RPMI 1640 (10 with 25mM HEPES, 10 with HEPES and L-glutamine), 2 × 500ml heat-inactivated foetal bovine serum filtered at 0.2µm, 3 × 1,000ml Alsever's solution, 600ml of Histopaque for density gradient work, L-glutamine, 2-mercaptoethanol, antibiotic-antimycotic 100x, gentamicin, kanamycin monosulphate and a 50µg vial of human Interleukin-2. The consumables run to Eppendorf tubes (1.5ml, pack of 1,000), 8-strip capped PCR tubes (200µl, pack of 1,000), 4 packs of 50ml Accuspin tubes, sterile cryovials, 6-well culture plates, T25 flasks, 0.2µm microfilters, screw-cap glass sample tubes, pipette fillers, loading dye, Safe-Red gel, Giemsa stain, trypan blue, immersion oil, absolute ethanol and methanol, phosphate buffer salts and L-asparagine.
