Wedza District Hospital is restocking its pharmacy across injectables and oral medicines. The injectables are the bulk: 400 units of ceftriaxone 250, 200 of procaine penicillin, 100 of a 25mg depot injection listed as FD, 50 of promethazine 25mg, 20 of adrenaline, 20 of diazepam, 10 of hydrocortisone and 10 of paracetamol injection. The oral medicines are 100 boxes of nifedipine 20mg, 10 boxes each of paracetamol 500mg, amoxicillin 250mg and metronidazole 250mg, and 5 boxes of metformin 500mg. Delivery is to Wedza District Hospital within 14 days, funded from the GoZ Treasury regular budget allocation.
