The Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Development and Vocational Training is setting up a framework agreement for cleaning materials and tissue paper, drawn on through call-off contracts.
The chemicals half covers tile, hard surface, toilet and window cleaners in 5-litre and 750ml sizes, dish washing liquid, bleach, pine gel, household ammonia, hand sanitiser, hand washing liquid, toilet dip, blue fresh liquid, scouring powder, channel blocks, green bar soap, rust remover, shoe polish, white floor polish in 20 litres, and teak, mukwa and leather sofa polishes.
The equipment half covers mops, hard, soft and straw brooms, a combo sweeper, 20-litre buckets and a single mop bucket with wringer, toilet brushes with holders, long and short feather dusters, microfibre cloths, mutton cloth, green hand pads, caution signs and bin liners at 500x400x900 and 40 microns.
PPE and paper: latex gloves in boxes of 100, long nitrile gloves, face masks in packs of 50, 2-ply 350-sheet white tissue rolls, 2-ply 100-sheet facial tissues and white paper serviettes.
Every line is at quantity one, so this is a rate schedule rather than a fixed order. The framework runs one year with delivery to Old Parliament, funded from the Treasury regular budget allocation, competitive bidding, 90-day bid validity.
