Chipinge Town Council is buying pipework through competitive bidding. The pipe is class 12 PVC throughout: 1 830 of 315mm, 774m of 75mm across two lines, 258m of 50mm, 114m of 110mm and 102m of 63mm. The fittings include 19 75mm tees, 19 75mm long-reach 90-degree bends, four 110mm-to-75mm reducers, two 75mm gate valves, two 75mm scour valves and one 300mm bulk meter, with the list truncating there. Transport to Chipinge is listed as a separate priced line. Delivery is to the council main office within one month, with bids valid for 60 days.
