REPAIR OF HOSPITAL TRANSFORMERS AND RMUs
Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals wants its transformers and ring main units serviced and repaired over a year with no count or ratings published. Bids close 26 October 2026 at 16:00 CAT.
Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals is buying service and repair work on its transformers and ring main units, over one year on Regular Agency Fund. The requirement is a single line repeating the title. For high-voltage equipment that leaves out everything a bidder needs: no number of transformers or RMUs, no kVA ratings, no voltage levels, no fault descriptions, and nothing on whether oil testing, bushing replacement or switchgear overhaul are in scope. RMU work in particular is high-voltage switching on live distribution equipment, requiring certified personnel and coordination with the utility. At a hospital, the outage windows for that work are also tightly constrained, and the notice says nothing about them. The full tender document was not available to us.
