The Minister of Finance has published the President's determination on a new series of ZiG banknotes. New Ten, Twenty, Fifty, One Hundred and Two Hundred ZiG notes, with new designs and features, replace the banknotes issued under S.I. 60 of 2024 and are available in the market from 7 April 2026. The new ZiG10 and ZiG20 notes will co-circulate with the ZiG10 and ZiG20 notes issued under S.I. 60 of 2024 for an indefinite period.

Every note carries the Reserve Bank logo of three balancing rocks on the front, a feature for the visually impaired, a gold bars image, a Zimbabwe Bird watermark and see-through image, a latent image with the word ZiG and a magnetic security thread. The fronts show a buffalo (ZiG10), elephant (ZiG20), rhinoceros (ZiG50), leopard (ZiG100) and lion (ZiG200). The backs show the Matopo Hills, the Parliament of Zimbabwe building, Kariba Dam, Victoria Falls and Great Zimbabwe.

The ZiG100 and ZiG200 have a windowed Rolling Star security thread and colour-shifting animal heads — the leopard from gold to green and the lion from magenta to green — and the ZiG200's Zimbabwe Bird shifts from green to gold.

All are printed on cotton paper, 65mm high: ZiG10 red, 130mm long; ZiG20 brown, 137mm; ZiG50 green, 144mm; ZiG100 purple, 151mm; and ZiG200 blue, 158mm.
