Collective Bargaining Agreement: Agricultural Industry-General Agriculture
General agriculture drops the SI 41 of 2022 job schedule for the NEC's 2024 job evaluation grades — republished with corrections two weeks later as S.I. 231 of 2025.
Published under section 80(1) of the Labour Act, this is the registered collective bargaining agreement for the general agriculture subsector, between the employer parties ZAEO, ZCFU, the Zimbabwe Tobacco Association, CFU and ZFU and the unions GAPWUZ, HGAPWUZ, AAWU, PAAWUZ and ZHAGAWU on the National Employment Council for the Agricultural Industry.
The job schedule in S.I. 41 of 2022 is revoked for the general agriculture subsector and replaced by the NEC's General Agriculture Sector Job Evaluation Report 2024, which lists the subsector's jobs and grades.
Signed at Harare on 15 January 2025, the agreement binds all organisations in the agricultural industry.
This instrument was republished with corrections as S.I. 231 of 2025 on 26 December 2025, which is the text to work from. It fixes grades, not wages.
