Appointment of Board Members of the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation

The Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services has appointed the board of the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation under section 11(13) of the Public Entities Corporate Governance Act. The appointments run for four years.
The thirteen members are Helliate Rushwaya (Board Chairman), Adv. Tapson Stanley Togarasei Dzvetero (Vice Chairman), Chipo Nheta, Dr Henry Mukono, Dr Nanette Silukhuni, Charles Munganasa, Precious Charandura, Thandolwenkosi Nkomo, Prof. Sibongile Mpofu, Dr Queen Mpofu, Amon Craig Matambo, Ruvheneko Parirenyatwa and Martin Takawira Kweza.
ZBC is the state broadcaster, so the board governs national radio and television output and the licence fee arrangements that go with it.
